Who is responsible

Alina Makovei Web Agency is the data controller for information collected through this website. If you have a question about anything on this page, email hello@alinamakovei.co.uk and you will get a reply from a person.

What is collected

The contact form collects your name, your email address, the services you tick and the message you write. The server also records your IP address for a short period so the form cannot be flooded with automated submissions.

No account is created, no profile is built and no tracking or advertising cookies are set on this site.

Why it is collected

Your details are used for one thing: to reply to your enquiry and to talk about the work you asked about. This is done on the basis of legitimate interest in responding to someone who has contacted the business, and to take steps before entering a contract if the enquiry turns into a project.

Who else sees it

The site runs on Vercel and enquiry emails are delivered by Resend. Both process the message on the way to the inbox. Nothing is sold, shared with advertisers or passed to anyone else.

How long it is kept

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as the conversation is useful, and no longer than two years if the enquiry does not become a project. Rate limiting records the IP address in memory only and it clears within the hour.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@alinamakovei.co.uk and it will be handled within one month. If you are not happy with the response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
